I have created a new 3D environment that is a good representation of where I'd like to live. I have created all of the elements to this environment including the terrain, sea, swimming pool, lodge and swimming pool. The vegetation, admittedly, I did not do as I didn't have enough time. I have created a 3D walkthrough to show how the environment looks from all angles. The camera positions focus largely on the main features of my model.

VIP/Backstage Area
I have made a backstage area for the festival. This includes enough space for tour buses to park close enough to the back of the stage so that equipment can be transported easily. I have put marquees and tents for the performers to relax in and be interviewed in before and after they perform. I have made sure that all of the models that I have imported have been to an adequate scale in comparison to the generic person that is in the model at the beginning of the program when I first open up Google Sketchup.
My 3D Venue
Digital Poster
I have made my digital flyer for the ducks are out Festival. I have ensured that I incorporated elements of my logo in it along with the information I think is needed for this purpose such as the performers who will be playing at the festival, information on where to get tickets, ticket prices and location as well.
I have designed the digital flyer by using a hierarchy of elements on the page. This means that I have designed it so that the information that is more important is a larger size than information that is less important.
I have put an animated loop of ducks swimming along some water in the background. The flyer is to be used online and so I thought I would make it more appealing by adding animations. I had to overcome the problem of making sure that it would not bring too much attention to it so I added a white translucent layer inbetween the foreground and background.
My Logo
I have made my logo for a festival that I have made up. I decided to call the festival "Ducks are out" because I think that it gives an image of summer and sunshine. In order to incorporate the idea of ducks in my logo, I have put in a basic shape of a duck as a dominant part of it. I have used two fonts to give a contrasting look so that it is eye-catching. I have used multiple layers to make up the final logo and used Adobe Fireworks to create it.
I have used filters on the edges to give a soft focus.
